Apple on Tuesday unveiled the new iPad Pro in a thin and light design, featuring a new Ultra Retina XDR display with state-of-the-art tandem OLED technology and M4 chip for next-level performance.
Along with iPad Pro, the company also launched all-new accessories, which include ‘Apple Pencil Pro’ and a new thinner & lighter ‘Magic Keyboard’ that comes packed with incredible features.
Available in silver and space black finishes, the new iPad Pro comes in two sizes — 13-inch and 11-inch. The iPad Pro, Apple Pencil Pro, and Magic Keyboard are now available to order, with availability in stores starting May 15.
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro comes available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations. The 11-inch model starts at Rs 99,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 119,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch model starts at Rs 129,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 149,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, the company mentioned.
“With the breakthrough Ultra Retina XDR display, the next-level performance of M4, incredible AI capabilities, and support for the all-new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard, there’s no device like the new iPad Pro,” John Ternus, Apple’s senior VP of Hardware Engineering, said in a statement.
The new iPad Pro is made possible with the new M4 chip, the next generation of Apple silicon, which delivers a huge leap in performance and capabilities, the company said.
In addition, the tech giant launched the redesigned 11-inch and all-new 13-inch iPad Air, supercharged by the M2 chip.
Now available in two sizes for the first time, the 11-inch iPad Air is super-portable, and the 13-inch model provides an even larger display for more room to work, learn, and play. Featuring a faster CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine in M2, the new iPad Air offers even more performance, the company said.
The new 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air will be available in blue, purple, starlight, and space grey, with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations. The 11-inch model starts at Rs 59,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 74,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 13-inch model starts at Rs 79,900 for the Wi-Fi model, and Rs 94,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
The new iPad Air is now available to order, with availability beginning May 15.
