Huawei’s GT5 smartwatch, which offers a combination of sports and health tracking features along with a unique emotional well-being assistant, is now available in India.

The smartwatch is available in two sizes: a 46mm edition for men and a 41mm edition for women, with various colour options to suit different style preferences.

Design And Pricing

The Huawei GT5 smartwatch features prism straps and an ergonomic design suitable for both casual and formal wear.

The 46mm model is available in Blue, Brown, and Black, while the 41mm edition comes in White, Brown, Blue, Gold, and Black. It is priced from Rs 18,999 and includes a 12-month warranty.

The smartwatch boasts a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels for both the male and female editions, offering 352 PPI for the 46mm edition and 326 PPI for the 41mm edition.

Both smartwatch editions are water-resistant to a depth of 50 meters, making them suitable for swimming and other water activities.

Health features

The GT5 comes equipped with the company’s proprietary TruSense technology for health and fitness monitoring, including satellite-based GNSS tracking.

The emotional well-being assistant of the watch uses dynamic watch faces that adapt based on the user’s emotional state.

The smartwatch supports over 100 workout modes, featuring professional sports tracking for activities such as golf, trail running, and free diving.

The Stay Fit app enables users to monitor their caloric intake and meals, while Activity Rings 2.0 offers a detailed overview of daily fitness activities.

Additionally, built-in offline maps and real-time navigation enhance the experience for outdoor adventures.

The GT5 allows for Bluetooth calls and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices through the Harmony app.

It also includes a feature that lets users take screenshots directly from the watch.
