Tech giant Apple on Wednesday announced that its generative artificial intelligence (AI) feature will be available in even more languages in the coming year.

After an October launch in US English, the company said that its AI feature set will be available in English (India), English (Singapore), German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Vietnamese, and “others” in 2025, reports TechCrunch.

The feature will launch in American English as part of the iOS 18.1 update. The company has announced that localized English support for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK will be available later in 2024, with support for Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish coming in 2025.

Apple announced the iPhone 16 lineup last week with a major focus on its support for Apple Intelligence. Those devices – which will be available to buy starting September 20 — won’t have AI features right out of the box. Apple Intelligence will be available later this fall, and at that point, it will only support some of the features outlined by the tech giant.
