Tech giant Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event, which is set to kick off on September 9, is expected to introduce the next generation of several popular devices.
It is expected that Apple will announce the new iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, Apple AirPods 4, and more.
As per several reports, the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus might have the same size as their predecessors. However, the Pro models – iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max’s displays will apparently increase by 0.2 inches, measuring 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively. The iPhone 16 lineup will also reportedly have slimmed down bezels.
Talking about the camera, several leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 series will move to a stacked design for its rear camera. The 16 Pro series is reportedly going to have a 5X telephoto zoom, previously available only on the 15 Pro Max, and its ultrawide camera will reportedly have 48MP instead of 12MP.
The tech giant is also likely to announce its new Apple Watch series. Rumours suggest that the Apple Watch Series 10 will feature 45mm and 49mm screen sizes, making it comparable in size to the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
There is also a possibility that the smartwatch might be thinner than its predecessor.
At the event, it is expected that the tech giant might announce the fourth generation of Apple AirPods. The company may replace the AirPods 3 and 2 with new mid-range and entry-level AirPods 4 options this September.
These new AirPods are expected to feature updated designs, new colours, and USB-C charging. According to reports, Apple’s mid-range AirPods 4 will feature active noise cancellation, a feature previously only available on the AirPods Pro.
As per a new rumour, the next-gen of the AirPods Pro might come.
According to the claims made by the leaker @Kosutami_Ito on X, the AirPods Pro is poised to come with improved active noise cancellation.
However, it is not sure how soon the AirPods Pro 3 will get launched, but the September 9 Apple event might be its reveal date.
