Users can now interact with Meta AI across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook in Hindi and other new languages such as French, German, Hindi-Romanised Script, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

The tech giant has expanded access to Meta AI – the assistant in its apps and devices – and introduced new features to help users with answers, ideas and inspiration.

The AI assistant is now available in 22 countries, with the newest in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Cameroon, the company said.

“With Meta AI across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Facebook and meta.ai, people are tapping into the power of AI to get more done in less time, bring creative ideas to life and expand their knowledge,” Meta said.

Moreover, the company has introduced a new feature called ‘Imagine me’ in Meta AI that will allow users to bring their vision to life.

“Imagine yourself creates images based on a photo of you and a prompt like ‘Imagine me surfing’ or ‘Imagine me on a beach vacation’ using our new state-of-the-art personalisation model,” the company said.

“Simply type ‘Imagine me’ in your Meta AI chat to get started, and then you can add a prompt like ‘Imagine me as royalty’ or ‘Imagine me in a surrealist painting’,” it explained.

The company has started rolling out the feature in beta in the US to begin.

In addition, the tech giant introduced new creative editing tools that will make it easier for users to create their ideal image with Meta AI.

Users can easily add or remove “objects, change them and edit them – adjusting just what you want while keeping the rest of the image as it was”, according to the company.

Moreover, Meta will let users add an image made with Meta AI to their Facebook post.

The company has started to roll out the ability for users to create it right within feed, stories, comments and messages across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp – anywhere Meta AI is available in English starting this week.
